Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our construction team in the renovation and refits of social housing in Sheffield. The successful candidate will be responsible for various joinery tasks. Applicants should have a strong background in carpentry and related trades, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a full time position on a self employed basis.

Duties

Install joinery elements such as doors, windows, staircases, and bespoke furniture Maintain a clean and organised workspace to adhere to health and safety standards Assist with site preparation, measurements, cutting, fitting, and finishing of structures Assist other trades as and when requited

Skills

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, or related trades Proficient with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, chisels; as well as power tools including drills and saws Strong understanding of health & safety regulations within the construction industry Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret project specifications Organised with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Must have a CSCS card, be CIS registered Must have PPE including FFP3 dust mask and dust extraction- Facefit certification can be provided Asbestos Awareness (available online)
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about craftsmanship with practical experience across multiple building trades. Candidates should be physically fit with the ability to undertake manual labour tasks safely while maintaining high standards of quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 200.00-250.00 per day
