Ecosystems Technologies are focussed on maximising off-site manufacture and utilising sustainable, home-grown materials to deliver high-quality modular buildings from our site in Invergordon. As our business continues to grow, we have new exciting opportunities for Joiners/Carpenters to join our team! Taking a leading role in the manufacture of our modular buildings from individual units, to larger commercial buildings, with works ranging from framing out our CLT panels, installing kitchens, manufacturing furniture, installing cladding and everything in between - meaning no day is ever the same! With opportunities to lead on projects, support training of our semi-skilled team, and assist with covering site-works for our on-site installations, there is a ever-growing scope for future development and progression for the right individual(s).

Duties

- Manufacture/framing of our CLT, GLT and NLT build systems, utilising drawings from our design team and ensuring attention to detail to maintain our high-quality build systems. Providing feedback from production to design to ensure drawings are fully aligned with production requirements and looking at opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Working to timescales set out by the production programme, ensuring that milestones are managed and met and that proactive opportunities are looked at to drive and improve productivity within the teams.
- Ensuring compliance with the business' Air Table QA System - taking responsibility to sign off checks at appropriate stages throughout manufacture and sharing lesson's learned with the team for better compliance across the board.
- Carrying out finishing works alongside manufacture duties, including internal finishings such as door linings, internal partitions, kitchen installations and furniture manufacture.
- Supporting with on-site installations, as required, including transport preparation. Ability to have flexibility to support with installs across various locations is preferred, but not essential.

- Taking personal ownership for Health & Safety matters within the factory to ensure compliance with the business H&S policies and procedures, as well as compliance with main contractor H&S expectations when working on-site.

- Potential opportunities to lead-on projects and support training of Semi-Skilled team members, ensuring compliance to programme, quality, health & safety and procurement requirements within individual teams.

Experience

Required Skills:
- Joiner/Carpentry Qualification or Similar
- Experience with tools and equipment used during manufacture processes
- Experience within the construction/manufacturing industry

Desired Skills:
- Experience with modular buildings
- Experience with cladding installation, painting, furniture manufacture
