The Role
We're looking for an experienced Joiner to join our growing team, working on a mix of domestic and commercial projects across York and the surrounding area.
You'll carry out a variety of joinery and carpentry work -- everything from fitting doors, skirting, and kitchens to minor repairs, maintenance, and bespoke jobs as part of larger property and electrical projects. You'll work closely with other trades and the operations team to ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general joinery and carpentry work, including fitting doors, frames, skirting, architraves, and kitchen units.
Undertake bespoke joinery tasks and minor repairs as part of larger maintenance and installation projects.
Collaborate effectively with electricians, plumbers, and other trades to complete multi-trade jobs.
Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately to project requirements.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company quality standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working order.
Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Represent Full Circuit professionally on every site, upholding our reputation for quality and reliability.
Essential Criteria
Proven experience in joinery or carpentry (domestic or commercial).
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Ability to plan and complete tasks independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and practical, hands-on approach.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, polite, and customer-focused attitude.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Criteria
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent qualification).
Experience working alongside electrical, plumbing, or maintenance teams.
CSCS card or other relevant site safety certifications.
Experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or refurbishment environments.
