Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker/ joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and joinery, with the ability to fabricate high-quality cabinets and Joinery This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work with various materials and tools. The Cabinet Maker will be responsible for producing custom cabinetry that meets our clients' specifications while ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Construct cabinets and joinery pieces using a variety of materials, including wood, laminates, and veneers. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and assemble components. Perform joinery techniques to ensure strong and durable constructions. Collaborate with designers and clients to understand project requirements and specifications. Measure, mark out, and plumb installations accurately to ensure proper fitment. Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to maintain high standards. Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials as required on-site. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role in woodworking or carpentry. Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and fabrication processes. Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of the job responsibilities. Familiarity with masonry or electrical work is advantageous but not essential. Excellent attention to detail with a passion for producing high-quality craftsmanship. Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients. A proactive approach to problem-solving within the workshop environment.
