The Role

As a

Joinery Draughtsman

reporting to the Head of Design & Draughting, you will:

Produce detailed

technical construction drawings

and

workshop drawings

for

bespoke high-end joinery

and

bespoke furniture

using

Autodesk Inventor

Translate design briefs and concept sketches into fully detailed, manufacturable 3D models and 2D production drawings Create

bills of materials (BOMs)

, cutting lists, and purchase schedules Integrate third-party items (ironmongery, appliances, hardware, glass, metalwork) Ensure all drawings meet

health & safety

, installation, and end-user requirements Issue and control drawing revisions throughout approval, manufacturing, and installation stages Liaise with project managers, workshop teams, and external designers/client teams Attend site and design team meetings

Essential Skills & Experience

Experience as a Joinery Draughtsman

or

Furniture Draughtsman

in

bespoke/high-end joinery

Advanced proficiency in

Autodesk Inventor

(daily user) -

essential

SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD transferable if willing to fully transition to Inventor Expert knowledge of

joinery construction methods

, and finishing techniques Proven ability to produce

manufacturing-ready workshop drawings

and resolve complex material interfaces Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Confident communication - internal teams and client-facing
