We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Duties

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment scheduling. Support month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts and preparing necessary documentation. Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft. Collaborate with senior accountants to analyse financial data and provide insights for decision-making. Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and support as required. Engage in mentoring opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge within the finance sector.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable. Strong understanding of financial services and financial accounting principles. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines. Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data effectively. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration within the team. A willingness to learn and develop mentoring relationships within the finance department.
