Job Summary
We are seeking a
Junior Accounts Assistant
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing sales and purchase invoices, reviewing and uploading information onto our bespoke software / QuickBooks / Xero, as well as supporting with daily administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate should be able to deal with multiple currencies, proficient in English while being able to accommodate our customer base in which English may not be their first language. Proven experience in a similar role is desirable, however we welcome candidates without previous experience if we believe they have the right skills to perform the tasks.
The successful candidate must be able to work well in a fast paced environment and be flexible with changing priorities in order to meeting deadlines. Having a positive can-do attitude is essential for this role.
Main Duties
Ensuring accurate data entry in our bespoke software
Analysis of timesheets, expenses and various information received from contractors
Raising Sales invoices and sending to clients
Dealing with customer enquiries by telephone or email and providing assistance in a professional and respectable manner
Managing office tasks and maintaining organisational systems
Utilising IT skills to handle administrative duties
Operating Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams
Candidate Criteria
Possibility for immediate start will be a differentiator
Strong numeracy skills with attention to detail
Strong IT skills and comfortable while working with computers
Highly organised and deadline focused
Able to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
Proven experience in sales and purchase invoicing is desirable
The ability to deal confidently with people with clear and effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
Proven experience of working in office environment
Responsible and reliable with a flexible attitude
Ability to respond positively to new challenges and change
Understands the importance of data accuracy
Able to work full time in the United Kingdom is required
