We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Admin Finance Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis for 6 weeks. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in finance and administration within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Duties
Finance Support:
Assist with data entry for purchase orders, invoices, receipts, and payments.
Help reconcile purchase orders vs invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
Support the finance team with basic reporting and spreadsheet updates.
Process expenses claim and assist with petty cash handling.
Administrative Support:
Perform general administrative duties including filing, document management and updating database records.
Answer phone calls and emails, directing queries appropriately.
Support diary management and meeting scheduling.
Other ad-hoc admin tasks.
Requirements
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable:
Previous experience in an office or finance setting (including internships or voluntary roles).
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage 200, Xero, QuickBooks) is a plus.
