As a

Junior Applications Developer and Data Analyst

, you'll be a key player in our centralised ICT data support team. This is more than just a support role-it's a launchpad for your career in tech.

What you'll be doing

Support the ICT team with

data management, analysis and reporting

to drive smarter business decisions. Work with tools like

Microsoft SQL Server

,

Python

and

Power BI

to uncover insights and build visualisations. Develop your skills in

full stack development

, including frameworks like

Django

. Collaborate across departments to understand their data needs and deliver impactful solutions. Assist your manager on

cross-functional projects

, helping to build strong relationships with internal clients and ensuring high-quality delivery.

What you'll bring

We are looking for someone with a keen interest in IT, data and development, who's looking to build a career in this field.

Qualifications

: You'll have GCSE English and Maths (grade 4/C or above) and an A-level in Computer Science, Information Technology, Maths or a related field.

Technical Skills:

An interest in programming languages and frameworks, such as SQL, Python, R and Django.

Experience:

An interest in and someexposure to data analysis and/or database management.

Core Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and a keen interest in continuous learning and improvement. You'll be a team player, with strong communication skills, able to manage multiple tasks but retain attention to detail. An analytical mindset and a proactive problem-solving approach will be key to your success in this role.

Attractive salary of between 25,000 and 35,000 depending on experience.
