Role Overview

We are seeking up to two technicians to join our production team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in mechanical or electrical assembly. You will assist in the assembly, testing, and inspection of our equipment, ensuring all products meet our high-quality standards. Although some experience is beneficial, as demonstrated this summer, in a matter of weeks we have taken a school leaver with no knowledge of the job to now being a valuable member of the team. Key Responsibilities

Assemble components and sub-assemblies according to technical drawings, instructions, or specifications Assist in wiring, mechanical fitting, and basic testing of machines Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Conduct quality checks to ensure products are built to spec Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to resolve assembly issues Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company procedures

Skills & Qualifications

Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge (training provided) Ability to read simple engineering drawings and instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity A proactive attitude and willingness to learn GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and a technical subject preferred but not essential Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment is a plus, but not essential
