This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Accounts and Finance team as well as Senior Management, gaining exposure to more complex financial tasks.
You will assist with day to day financial tasks to ensure accurate record-keeping using XERO.
Key Responsibilities
Process and input purchase invoices by matching them against their PO numbers
Process receipts, and expense claims into Xero
Reconcile bank and credit cards transactions regularly
Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks
Debtors chasing
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Support monthly reporting processes (e.g. trial balance, profit & loss)
Liaise with suppliers for invoice queries or payment confirmations
Others Administrative functions
Requirements
Basic understanding of accounting/bookkeeping principles
Experience using
Xero
Good Excel/Google Sheets skills
Strong attention to detail and time management
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Willingness to learn and take direction from senior staff
Desirable
AAT Level 2 or currently studying AAT
Previous experience in a finance or admin role
Familiarity with invoice scanning tools (e.g. Dext, Hubdoc)
