We are seeking a

Junior Business and Operations Assistant

to join our team at Differentis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong Microsoft 365 skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to develop experience in a fast-paced consultancy environment.


The successful candidate will support a variety of operational, administrative, and business support tasks across the consultancy. From assisting with proposal and contract preparation to supporting internal events and maintaining systems, this role will play a key part in keeping daily operations running smoothly and efficiently.


This is an ideal role for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional services or IT consultancy environment while contributing to a collaborative and growing team.

Key Responsibilities



Provide business and operational support across key functions to ensure smooth day-to-day processes. Assist with the preparation and formatting of client-facing documents, including proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and contracts. Support the resourcing function by coordinating consultant availability, project planning activities, and scheduling meetings. Maintain and manage internal collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams) to ensure up-to-date and well-organised information. Help coordinate and support internal initiatives and events, including workshops, team socials, and client-facing sessions. Manage shared inboxes and track key actions, following up as needed to support operational workflows. Keep internal databases (such as the Talent Pool and resource trackers) accurate and updated. Provide administrative assistance to senior team members, including slide creation, document formatting, and data input. Use Microsoft 365 tools to support reporting, documentation, and team collaboration. Work cross-functionally with consultants and leadership to promote operational efficiency and project readiness.

Key Requirements



Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Confident working independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Able to handle sensitive data with discretion and accuracy. Demonstrated interest in business operations, consulting, or professional services is a plus. Experience or familiarity with IT or technology consultancies is desirable but not essential. Willingness to learn and contribute to a variety of tasks, ranging from administrative support to project coordination. Demonstrate strong task management, communication, and organisational skills in a dynamic, client-facing environment. Proactively use Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) to streamline and support business operations.
