Role Overview
As a Business Development / Account Executive, you'll engage with warm leads - people who've registered for events, demos, or workshops. Your role will be to confirm their interest, explore any immediate project needs, and identify opportunities to pass on to our sales teams.
This is an excellent entry-level role for someone looking to grow in the tech marketing and B2B engagement space. While some experience is welcome, what's more important is having a friendly, confident phone manner and a willingness to learn - we provide training and a blank canvas to grow your skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound B2B calls to warm leads (no cold calling)
Confirm attendance for upcoming events, demos, and workshops
Have meaningful conversations to understand business needs and future plans
Log key insights clearly into our CRM system
Qualify leads and pass opportunities to relevant sales teams
Collaborate with marketing and campaign teams for seamless engagement
Represent CEC Marketing and our clients with professionalism and enthusiasm
Requirements:
Strong communication skills and a friendly, confident phone manner
Some experience in phone-based roles (e.g., sales, customer service, market research) is a plus
A positive, proactive attitude with a hunger to learn and grow
Organised and detail-oriented
Able to quickly build rapport and hold professional conversations
Comfortable using digital tools and CRM systems (training provided)
A genuine interest in marketing, business development, or the tech sector
Bachelor's degree or at least 1 years' experience in a Customer Service/Sales/Market Research environment.
