Maidenhead, Berkshire Salary commensurate with experience Working hours and days will be 9:00 - 17:30 Monday - Friday




We are

An independent property consultancy founded in 1986 with eight offices across London and the South of England. We provide surveying and valuation services to individuals and businesses when important property decisions need to be made. Our head office team based in Maidenhead is looking to recruit a property management assistant. The position would suit an experienced property manager. Working hours and days are flexible with a minimum of 25 hours a week required.





You are

An enthusiastic, responsible person with an enquiring mind and an interest in all elements of commercial property. The successful candidate will need to show good attention to detail, thoroughness and a pro-active attitude in the way that they work. You will have a flexible and can-do working attitude, be self-motivated and able to multi-task extensively.



You will work with and report to the head of the agency department. As part of an established team, this is a demanding role that requires excellent communication skills. There will be the opportunity to obtain formal qualifications if so desired.





Main duties of role



You will be working as part of our agency team alongside the head of our agency department, reporting to him but also to our valued clients and applicants.



Your role will include:


Preparation of property marketing material including initiation and implementation of marketing campaigns. Call handling and responding to inbound enquiries from clients, potential clients and applicants, both calls and emails, as appropriate. Conducting viewings of vacant and tenanted property, land and investments. Provision of feedback to colleagues and clients after viewings. Managing applicant lists to match requirements with available properties. Assisting with 'site searches' including making telephone enquiries about properties and compiling available properties into easy-to-read schedules.




Skills Criteria



Compulsory skill set:


Previous experience and relevant qualifications are not essential, though would be welcome. Willingness to roll sleeves up and carry out all tasks from the most straight forward such as fielding applicant queries to more demanding jobs such as undertaking viewings. To be personable and able to build excellent working relationships with all. Excellent organisational skills. Full UK driving licence.




Compulsory technical skill set:


Working knowledge of Outlook Working knowledge of Word
