The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Junior Contracts Manager
to join our team, focusing on managing
banking works
across the UK. This role involves overseeing construction and logistics activities for retail and commercial fit-out projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and client satisfaction. You will work closely with our experienced Contracts Managers and site teams, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing banking closure projects, including refurbishments and fit-outs, from inception to completion.
Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Support the preparation of project plans, schedules, and cost estimates, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with health, safety, and CDM regulations.
Liaise with clients to provide updates and maintain strong relationships.
Assist in managing logistics, including just-in-time delivery, reverse logistics for sustainable asset reuse, and furniture/componentry collection from closures, refurbishments, and relocations.
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring delivery within budget and timelines.
Support the implementation of our self-delivery model, leveraging in-house manufacturing and logistics facilities.
Demonstrate flexibility to attend sites/branches to complete surveys as required.
About You

Essential Requirements
A degree or equivalent qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in construction, fit-out, or logistics (entry-level candidates with relevant internships or placements considered).
Understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and project management principles.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Willingness to travel nationwide as required.
A valid UK driving license.
Desirable Skills
Experience in retail or banking fit-out projects.
Familiarity with logistics coordination or supply chain management.
Knowledge of sustainability practices in construction.
