Role requirements:
Hold or anticipate a 2:1 or higher in a relevant degree such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or Engineering
Proficient in SQL, with the ability to write and optimize queries and stored procedures
Familiarity with AWS Redshift, PostgreSQL, or similar OLAP and OLTP databases
Experience in Python, particularly in AWS Lambda development
Knowledge of event-driven architectures, such as AWS EventBridge
The most desirable candidates will have:
Practical experience, such as an internship, working with AWS services
Proficiency in AWS Step Functions or similar state machine-based orchestration tools
Exposure to data modeling and ETL/ELT pipelines
Experience using Git or other version control tools
Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Understanding of data governance principles and data quality standards
