Job Description
The duties during the working week vary, the timetable ensures that the post holder has access to all elements of OMF surgery.They will be timetabled to Day Case theatres both in Paediatrics and Adult. Theywill have a good opportunity to perform dento-alveolar procedures in a supervised environment. Post Holder is expected to take part in departmental educational programme, get involved with audits/ projects/ presentations and publications. We would aspire for the Post holder to present their work either at Departmental, Local or National meetings.
There are medical library facilities at the Royal Derby Hospital with a full-time librarian. There are separate offices for DCT, Registrars & specialty grade doctors with computing & internet facilities. There is a large seminar room with modern audio visual equipment. The applicant is expected to participate in professional continuing medical education: Study leave isprovided for this purpose
