About the Company:

DSLT Limited are proud to be an established M&E Contractor specialising in commercial & industrial design & build projects. Predominately, our work is in the film and TV production sector where we are fortunate enough to work with high profile clients.

We are seeking a confident, reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team. The position will be a hands-on role with a responsibility to produce Electrical tenders for both pre-designed and design & build projects, as well as produce electrical design for both tender and construction in conjunction with other designers and project managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial & industrial design, and the ability to analyse project requirements to provide accurate cost estimations.

The candidate will be responsible for gather quotations from our trusted supply chain for LV Mains, Lighting, Power, Fibre & Structured cabling, Security, Fire Detection, etc. There will also be elements of HV Network & Substation works, Groundworks, Mechanical & Plumbing in conjunction with the other members of the team

The candidate's roles & responsibilities will include:

Meet with clients and survey sites to understand the "Employers Requirements". Produce Scope of Works (both for ourselves & subcontractors). Produce full tender submissions with internal support. Produce bill of quantities, schedules of work and contractor's proposal documents to support quotations & tender proposals. Produce bill of materials & call off sheets. Review issued specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents, as well as tender clarifications and updates for the respective clients. Ensure that all tender submissions are comprehensively reviewed and qualify correctly. Attend project site tender meetings, site reviews, and post-tender meetings as required. Provide support and guidance to onsite engineers as and when needed. Maintain strict compliance to quality work, and safety rule. Cable calculations using Amtech and/or liaise with our external designers. Produce Design Risk Assessments. Produce lighting calculations using Dialux. Produce drawings using AutoCAD and/or liaise with in house CAD draftsman. Provide support and guidance to colleagues & onsite engineers as required.

Essential Criteria:

1 - 2 years of proven experience in building services Electrical Design or Electrical Estimating role. A practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving and strong attention to detail. Drive to learn and develop skills in AutoCAD and Revit, as well as developing your technical knowledge in a real-world engineering environment. Demonstrate an awareness of electrical industry standards and how they may be practically applied. A strong sense of responsibility and pride in your work. Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and professional growth. Full UK Driving licence and own vehicle Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferable Criteria:

Minimum of 2 years on site Electrical installation experience (C&G 2357 - NVQ Level 3) A formal qualification in Electrical or Engineering-related discipline (Minimum C&G 2396). Experienced in using AutoCAD. Experience with Amtech Pro Design Software
