Premier Power Services Ltd is an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) and Private Network specialist operating nationwide up to 33kV.

We deliver turnkey HV/LV electrical infrastructure, renewable energy (solar/BESS), and EV charging projects, alongside maintenance and COMA services for major clients such as Zenobe, Voltalia, and VEV.

Role Overview



We're looking for a motivated and organised Junior Estimator to join our expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to learn, good with numbers, and enjoys working in a technical, fast-paced environment.

No prior electrical experience is required -- full on-the-job training and mentoring will be provided by our experienced team.

You'll play a key role in helping us prepare project tenders and cost proposals, working closely with our design, project, and operations teams to support the delivery of major energy and infrastructure projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities



Assist with preparing quotations, tenders, and cost breakdowns for projects across the UK. Help with take-offs from drawings and specifications to identify quantities and materials. Issue and track supplier and subcontractor enquiries and record pricing information. Work alongside senior engineers to review drawings and understand project requirements. Support the creation of bid documents and commercial schedules for tender submissions. Help maintain and update project cost databases and estimating templates. Support with programme and delivery schedules, learning how projects are structured from start to finish. Assist in project handovers, ensuring all key tender information is passed to the delivery team.

Skills & Attributes



Confident using Microsoft Excel and Word. Good with numbers, detail, and organisation. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn about engineering, renewables, and the power industry. Positive attitude, reliable, and able to work independently once trained.

Experience & Qualifications



Essential:



Educated to degree level or equivalent Comfortable using basic computer applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong work ethic and desire to develop within a technical role. Team player with strong communication skills

Desirable:



Previous experience in an office, technical, or construction-related environment (not essential). Basic understanding or interest in engineering, estimating, or project work.
