About the Role
We're looking for a
Junior Estimator
to join our commercial team. This role involves measuring, pricing, and preparing quotations for maintenance and construction works.
You'll attend site visits to assess works, gather information, and then return to the office to produce accurate costings and quotations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with on-site or trade experience who is looking to move off the tools, or someone with early estimating experience who wants to develop further within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
Attend site visits to assess and measure works
Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for maintenance and construction projects
Analyse drawings, specifications, and site information
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather pricing information
Maintain clear and organised records of estimates and site information
Support senior estimators with pricing, take-offs, and administrative tasks
Update internal systems with quotes and costings
Ensure all estimates are prepared in line with company procedures and timelines

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience measuring and pricing works within the construction or maintenance sector
On-site trade experience or previous estimating experience (advantageous but not essential)
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Good organisational and time-management skills
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to learn quickly and work as part of a team
Basic IT skills (Excel, email, job management systems)
Full UK driving licence (preferred, due to site visits)
