We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Events Manager to join our events team and support the planning, coordination, and execution of various corporate and client events. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their events career to gain hands-on experience while working alongside seasoned professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing events including corporate meetings, product launches, networking events, and client celebrations
Support venue research, site visits, and initial vendor outreach under senior supervision
Help coordinate event logistics such as catering arrangements, equipment rentals, and guest registration processes
Maintain detailed event timelines and checklists to ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule
Administrative & Operational Tasks
Manage event databases, guest lists, and RSVP tracking systems
Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports within established budgets
Create and distribute event materials including invitations, programs, signage, and welcome packets
Coordinate transportation, accommodation, and special dietary requirements for attendees
On-Site Event Support
Provide hands-on support during event setup, execution, and breakdown
Serve as point of contact for vendors and venue staff during events
Assist with guest registration, directional support, and general event troubleshooting
Help manage event materials, supplies, and equipment inventory
Support client communication and respond to basic event inquiries under guidance
Assist in maintaining vendor relationships and gathering quotes for event services
Help coordinate with internal teams including marketing, sales, and executive leadership
Participate in post-event debriefs and contribute to improvement recommendations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field
1-3 years of experience in events, hospitality, project coordination, or related customer service role
Internship or volunteer experience with event planning is highly valued
Experience with basic project management and administrative tasks
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Basic knowledge of event management software or willingness to learn quickly
Social media familiarity and basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred
Comfortable with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, WebEx)
