The Finance team is growing and we're looking for a Junior Finance Assistant to join our team in an exciting initial 6-month contract, with potential for further extension/permanency. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates and/or those looking to gain a hands-on experience in a junior finance role.

London Blackfriars - Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)

Working Pattern:

Full Time,Fixed Term - we are currently offering a 6-month contract with a view of potential extension/permanency, to be reviewed in line with business requirements.

Salary:

24,000 gross per annum

Immediate start

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

This role will provide the opportunity to work closely with our talented finance team and gain experience in the world of finance by using financial processes and tools.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (non-exhaustive)

? Posting supplier invoices and manufacturing platform holder purchase orders.

? Supporting with Supplier account reconciliations payment run preparation.

? Responding to ad hoc queries from the business and external developer stakeholders.

? Assisting with month-end accruals calculations.

? Contributing to improvements within the finance function.

? General ad hoc finance-related tasks.

WHAT SKILLS ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

Essential

? Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, business or a closely related field.

? Good Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

? Strong attention to detail.

? Good verbal and written communication skills.

? Enthusiasm to get involved in a wide range of tasks.

? Proficient organisational skills.

? A keen interest in finance, with additional interest in the gaming/media industry.

Desirable

? Experience with Sage50 (this is a plus, but training can be provided).

? Some prior experience in a finance related role (e.g. work experience, part time work, placement).

? Confident in handing numbers and performing required calculations.

? A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
