Job Description
We are looking for people seeking a career in hospitality, this role provides a holistic approach to hospitality and leadership, with support and guidance, we are hoping to find someone who is looking long term at progressing their talents in this field.
This could be your opportunity to join an influential, dynamic, and exciting team with genuine rewards for hard work. In return for your hard work we offer 13.30 with very generous tips between 150-250 per week, paid weekly, based on full time hours. Your holiday pay is 12.06% of hourly pay.
Makars Gourmet Mash bar has won TripAdvisor UK Casual Dinning Restaurant of the Year multiple years running. It is known as one of Edinburgh's "wee gems" and one of the busiest restaurants of the Royal Mile. Makars has become a destination venue to people from all over the world and prides itself as a great place to work. We are looking for an experienced, calm and professional person to join our vibrant team and lead the restaurant through strong shifts.
You must be hardworking, have a big personality and patient. We can do the training. If you have super human telepathic powers or a flair for languages all the better!
The tips are great, the hours are reasonable and the team are amongst the finest and friendliest in Scotland.
