Due to continued growth, Robert Kukla Spedition UK have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Freight Forwarder to join their operations department located in Mountnessing, Essex.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

As a

Junior Freight Forwarder

, your primary responsibility is to support the day-to-day coordination and smooth handling of freight operations by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on our internal systems. You will pay a key role in entering orders onto our system, updating shipment information that has been received from stakeholders and monitoring and tracking deliveries to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to start a career in the Logistics industry.

Key roles and responsibilities:

Process new customer orders on our operating system. Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders such as suppliers and carriers to ensure prompt collection and delivery of shipments. Support the end-to-end freight forwarding operations, primarily using sea containers, intermodal rail and road trailers. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during shipment. Maintain accurate records, including transport arrangements and shipping tracking. Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and provide updates to customers.
Our ideal candidate for the Freight Forwarder role will have:

Full fluency in English. Excellent time management and communication skills. The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
