Key Responsibilities Area, What you'll do.....
Feature Development:
Design, build and unit-test React components, Node/Express (REST & GraphQL) endpoints and PostgreSQL schemas.
3-D & Imaging:
Pair with senior devs in the UK and India to integrate WebGL / Unreal pixel-streamed viewers for collaborative implant templating and AR overlays.
AI & Data Pipelines:
Help wire Python (PyTorch/TensorFlow) inference services into Node micro-services and design ETL pipelines feeding surgical-outcome models.
Cloud & DevOps:
Contribute to containerised deployments on AWS; assist in migrating residual Digital Ocean workloads.
Quality & Security:
Write Jest/Cypress tests, join code reviews and follow ISO 13485/GDPR processes for medical-grade software.
Agile Collaboration:
Attend daily stand-ups, backlog grooming and retrospectives; work from user stories created with orthopaedic KOLs.
Required Skills & Experience (essential)
Commercial or project exposure to
React
,
Node.js
,
TypeScript
and
PostgreSQL
.
Familiarity with Git workflows, unit/integration testing and basic REST or GraphQL API design.
Sound understanding of HTML, CSS/Sass and responsive UI principles.
Right to work in the UK (Skilled Worker visa sponsorship possible).
Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or demonstrable equivalent experience (bootcamp, OSS, portfolio).
Desirable (nice-to-have)
AWS fundamentals (S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation).
Entry-level AI/ML knowledge: Python, scikit-learn or PyTorch; medical-imaging interest preferred.
Experience with 3-D graphics (WebGL, Three.js) or Unreal Pixel Streaming.
Awareness of medical-device regulations (ISO 13485), DevSecOps or cyber-security practices.
Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira/Azure DevOps) and hybrid-remote collaboration.
