Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Junior Graphic Designer to support our marketing and communications. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, possess a strong eye for design, and be proficient in multiple design programs. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an in-house environment and contribute to a wide range of projects. You'll work closely with the Senior Designer and wider marketing team, creating assets across digital, print, branding and web.

Responsibilities

Assist in the creation of visual content for various platforms, including social media, websites, email campaigns, presentations, and print materials. Develop engaging and on-brand graphics, illustrations, and layouts under the guidance of our senior designer. Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective design solutions. Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency across all channels. Prepare design files for production and ensure they meet technical specifications. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design software, and best practices. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas to creative projects. Manage and organise design assets efficiently.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator). A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and a keen understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to take constructive criticism and iterate on designs. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Desired Skills (but not essential)

Experience with motion graphics or video editing software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro). Familiarity with UI/UX design principles. Basic understanding of web design best practices. Knowledge of HTML/CSS. Experience in the vape industry or a similar fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
