Junior IT Support Analyst - Investment Management - Contract Our client, a leading Investment Management firm based in the City of London, are looking for a Junior IT Support Analyst to join them on an initial 6-month contract. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in providing IT support and contribute to the implementation of IT projects within a fast-paced, professional environment. Key responsibilities:
Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support and triage of incidents reported by the Service Desk.
Accurately log all support requests and faults in the IT ticketing system, ensuring timely updates and resolutions.
Diagnose and resolve both software and hardware issues across all key platforms and in-house applications.
Oversee third party works at datacentres and carry out maintenance and hardware installations where necessary.
Support the delivery of key projects and initiatives working closely with both internal technical teams and external vendors.
Key experience required:
Between 3-5 years in a user facing technology support role.
Advanced knowledge of IT systems, applications, and processes of a Windows environment.
Prior experience supporting Front Office and VIP users.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff in a clear and friendly manner.
A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and team support.
