Job Description

A Junior IT role, providing first-line technical support, maintaining hardware and software, managing user accounts, assisting with network upkeep, and resolving basic IT issues under the guidance of senior staff.?Responsibilities also include managing IT inventory, documenting procedures, and on-boarding new users by setting up their equipment and accounts.?

Responsibilities

End-User Support:

Provide technical assistance to users for issues with software, hardware, and network connectivity via phone, email, or chat.?

Hardware and Software Maintenance:

Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, software, and other IT assets.?

Network and System Monitoring:

Help monitor and maintain the organization's network infrastructure and internal systems to ensure they are running efficiently.?

Assist on installations and maintenance for Caravan Park WIFI systems.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues to more senior technicians or support teams.?

User Account Management:

Create and manage user accounts, including setting up access for new employees and revoking it for departing ones.?

Asset Management:

Assist in managing IT inventory, software licenses, and hardware, and help with purchasing new supplies.?

Documentation:

Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides for IT systems and procedures.?

Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with common operating systems, hardware, software applications, and networking concepts.?

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.?

Communication:

Professionalism and clear communication to interact with users and colleagues.?

Customer Service:

A focus on providing timely and efficient support to users.?

Adaptability:

The ability to learn new technologies and processes as the IT landscape evolves.

This full time permanent position may involve emergency call outs from time to time.
