Job Title: Junior Social Media & Marketing Assistant (Part-Time)

Pay Rate: London Wage

Hours: Part-time - 3 days per week (must be available to work either Saturday or Sunday, plus 2 weekdays)

Now, we're looking for a creative and energetic Junior Social Media & Marketing Assistant to help take our brand to the next level.

Role Overview:

This hands-on, junior-level position is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, enjoys meeting new people, and wants to gain real experience in digital marketing and community engagement. You'll be in charge of managing SPVR Arcade's online presence, creating exciting content, engaging with our customers, and helping us grow our following both online and locally.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media & Content Creation

Manage and grow our presence on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook Plan, shoot, and edit engaging posts including photos, videos, stories, and reels Edit content using tools like CapCut, Canva, Photoshop, or similar Film and record in-store content -- must be comfortable filming others Monitor and respond to DMs, comments, and tags to build community engagement Stay on top of trends and incorporate them into relevant content
Influencer & Community Engagement

Identify and invite local influencers/creators to visit SPVR Arcade weekly Build lasting relationships with creators, customers, and community members Represent the SPVR brand in a friendly, fun, and professional manner
Marketing Strategy & Local Outreach

Assist in creating monthly marketing plans and content calendars Suggest and implement promotions, campaigns, and in-store events Track social media analytics and share insights to improve performance Hand out flyers and promo materials to nearby businesses (within 3-mile radius)
Other Tasks

Be on-site for in-store shifts to help promote the arcade experience Understand and communicate our offerings clearly to potential customers Support the team with creative and marketing-related tasks as needed

What We're Looking For:

Someone creative, confident, and enthusiastic about social media and content Comfortable using a phone camera and editing apps (you'll be creating a lot of video!) Friendly and outgoing -- loves talking to people and creating connections Able to work independently and take initiative Some experience (even personal or freelance) in content creation or social media A reliable team player who's ready to grow with the brand

Requirements:

Must be available for one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) plus two weekdays Must be comfortable working in-store and talking to customers Willing to go out and distribute flyers to nearby businesses Owns a smartphone with a decent camera and basic editing apps Must be 21 years plus.

Experience using social media analytics and scheduling tools Interest in gaming, VR, or entertainment Background in graphic design, event planning, or branding
