Overview:
Location Medical Services Ltd is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Media Manager to join our dedicated team at Shepperton Film Studios. This is an exciting opportunity within the Film, TV, and Media division, supporting the delivery of high-quality on-set medical services.
You'll learn from experienced professionals and gradually take on responsibility for supporting planning, coordination, and delivery of medical cover to productions across the UK. The role offers strong development potential and may suit someone looking to step into operations or management in the media medical services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Liaison and Support
Assist in handling client enquiries, helping draft quotes and proposals under supervision.
Learn how to advise clients on appropriate levels of medical cover, balancing safety and value.
Support with preparation and distribution of operational documentation, including call sheets, maps, and medical plans.
Staffing and Scheduling
Maintain real-time staff availability records and scheduling documentation.
Help allocate appropriate staff to productions based on qualifications, location, and experience.
Communicate effectively with clinicians and operations staff to confirm details and ensure smooth delivery.
Resource Coordination
Assist with the organisation of vehicles, medical equipment, and kit needed for each job.
Help ensure that the correct personnel and assets are prepared and dispatched for each production.
Compliance and Administration
Assist with processing timesheets, job logs, and information for invoicing and payroll.
Support documentation and compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
On-Site Experience
Be present on-site at media productions during peak periods to shadow senior staff and assist with operational oversight.
Help ensure adherence to medical plans and support resolution of day-of challenges.
Out-of-Hours Support (Rota-Based)
Participate in an out-of-hours rota, monitoring and reacting to late changes or incidents.
Escalate issues to relevant managers as required.
Person Specification:
Essential
Excellent organisation and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Proven ability to multitask and work under pressure
Competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Good attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Willingness to work weekends/on-call during busy periods
Driving licence
Desirable
Experience in events, media, ambulance services,
Knowledge of medical or film/TV production environments
First Aid or clinical qualification (or willingness to obtain one)

The post holder must not disclose either during or after the termination of their contract, any information of a confidential nature relating to the business, its staff, its patients, or third parties, which may have been obtained in the course of their employment.

7. Infection Prevention and Control
The post holder will ensure they follow the business's infection prevention and control (IPC) policies and procedures to protect patients, staff, and visitors from healthcare associated infections. They will ensure that they use personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with policy and procedure. All staff must challenge non-compliance with IPC policies immediately and feedback through appropriate line managers if required.
8. Safeguarding Children and Adults
The business takes its responsibilities to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and adults seriously. The business expects all staff to identify their own responsibilities appropriate to their role within statute and guidance. This will include accessing safeguarding training and may include seeking advice, support, and supervision from the service's safeguarding team. Where staff are unclear of their responsibilities, they must seek guidance from their manager.
