We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Mortgage Broker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and possess excellent mathematical skills to assist clients in securing the best mortgage options available. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs and guide them through the mortgage application process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.

Responsibilities

Assess clients' financial situations and provide tailored mortgage solutions. Guide clients through the mortgage application process, explaining terms and conditions clearly. Collaborate with lenders to find suitable mortgage products that meet client requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current mortgage rates, trends, and regulations. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service throughout the process. Prepare and present mortgage proposals to clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately. Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Stay informed about changes in the financial services industry that may impact mortgage offerings.

Requirements

Proven experience in financial services, preferably within the mortgage sector. Strong basic maths skills for accurate calculations and assessments. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and lenders. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple client cases simultaneously. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service. Relevant qualifications or certifications in finance or mortgage broking are advantageous but not mandatory.
