The role

We're looking for a Junior operations analyst looking to join our Reconciliations team. You will be looking to begin a career in Financial Services, and keen to focus within the fintech space. You will join a small team of five, responsible for verifying the accuracy of the multi-billions of investments and cash we hold on behalf of our clients, investigating any issues and ensuring they are resolved promptly. You'll be a natural problem-solver, with a can-do attitude and be comfortable adapting to rapidly changing scenarios as they arise. Highly numerate and capable of quickly understanding complex situations and explaining them concisely to any stakeholders. You will work closely with all areas of the Operations team to ensure we maintain high standards of service during an exciting period of accelerated growth.

On a typical day you will be...

Performing a variety of cash and stock reconciliations, using external and internal data. Using internal systems to identify discrepancies, understand their cause and report to corrective teams. Working as part of a small team, using effective communication to ensure daily tasks are completed with a high degree of accuracy. Maintaining ownership of any request until resolution and meeting agreed SLAs. Taking ownership of key operational processes within the operations domain. Identifying and resolving technical issues, working with a range of workflows, and utilising a variety of collaborative applications. You'll find that your work alignment will change from time to time as the business grows to meet the changing demands of a rapidly scaling Operations function.

You have a willingness to learn about products, technology and investment wrappers. You have experience operating in a fast-paced environment where juggling multiple tasks simultaneously is common. You have a willingness to learn more about, and take ownership of, processes and customer outcomes. Enjoy working with numbers, are assiduous with a high attention to detail, and a solid problem-solver. You have strong communication, organisational skills and an eye for accuracy You are a team player who is customer and delivery focussed and wants to gain new skills on the journey. You have an interest in modern data technology and may have played around with basic coding, databases and APIs.

Interview process




Interviewing is a two-way thing, and we want you to have the time and opportunity to get to know us, as much as we are getting to know you. Our interviews are conversational, so come with questions and be curious. In general, you can expect the interview process to look a bit like this, (following an initial chat with one of our Talent team):

First stage - 45 mins competency-based interview with the hiring manager & Senior operations analyst. Second stage - 30-45 mins competency-based interview linked to our operating principles and ways of working.
