Process Design EngineerSalary banding:
Up to 45,000 (based on an applicant's skills, training and competence)Working Hours:
40 hours per week worked across 5 days - Monday-FridayLocation:
Thyson Office in CH65 4LX, but will be expected to visit project sites across the UK occasionally.Primary duties:
Design and calculation authority for pressurised systems Attend in-house and client weekly meetings providing technical support to project managers Liaison with clients and sub-suppliers of the technical delivery of the projects in conjunction with the Project Manager Undertaking design reviews and attending design review meetings In-house manufacturing support based on produced design Specifying project materials
Essential skills:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant Engineering discipline 1 - 2 years experience in a Process Engineering role Knowledge of ATEX and Mechanical design of systems for hazardous areas Knowledge and experience of the design life cycles of a project Awareness of the regulations and standards applicable to Mechanical/Process systems. Experience of working within the oil & gas and petrochemical industry
