Job title: Junior Project Engineer.

Reporting to: Operations Director

Location: Wolverhampton

Membracon UK Ltd are a well-established Wolverhampton based company supplying water treatment solutions for all sectors. Currently clients are in the automotive, aerospace, utilities, food & beverage and supply chain companies, also a variety of industrial coaters/finishers.

They are looking to recruit a Junior Project Engineer to join their expanding team.

This is a varied role with the focus being to liaise with clients and suppliers on future engineering projects and support the project management of current installations.

They would report to the Operations Director and assist with a variety of tasks:

Coordination of projects from initiation to completion

Liaise with various suppliers and sub-contractors

Technical Procurement involvement

Develop and continue enquiries to build relationships with clients

Attend project meetings with internal team and customers

Take meeting minutes and follow up on actions

Active involvement in basic marketing and business development

Talk to customers and suppliers and be capable of problem solving.

Using AutoCAD for general layouts

General office admin

Requirements:

Driving licence required

Computer literate

Outgoing, good communicator.

Experience with AutoCAD would be beneficial

Candidates with an interest/experience in engineering and process systems would be preferred although full training will be given, and we are open to applications from various backgrounds

This is a permanent position, 39 hours per week Monday to Friday, with immediate start.

The successful applicant must hold a full UK driving licence

Salary 25K-30K based on experience.

The company runs a pension programme and private health care for employees following a successful probationary period.

A company wide bonus structure is in place.
