Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cost control process throughout the lifecycle of our construction projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of proposed projects. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost forecasting. Manage procurement processes, including tendering and contract negotiations. Implement cost control measures to optimise project expenditure. Prepare reports on financial performance and project progress for management review. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is essential. Proven experience in cost control within the construction industry is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders. Proficiency in relevant software applications for quantity surveying and project management. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
