Ashfield Projects Ltd. is a leading regional construction firm with a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, and development projects based in West Yorkshire. With a reputation for quality, innovation, and timely delivery, we are seeking a talented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.

As a Junior Quantity Surveyor at Ashfield, you will work closely with our experienced team to manage the financial aspects of our construction projects.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while contributing to some of the most exciting developments in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents Help monitor project costs and maintain cost control records Support in valuing completed work and arranging payments Contribute to the preparation of contract variations and final accounts Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and team members Learn to forecast cash flow and report on financial aspects of projects Aid in identifying potential risks and opportunities in contracts

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field Knowledge of measurement and cost control principles Familiarity with construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC) Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Willingness to learn and grow professionally
