Junior Replit Developer / Web Builder - Work Directly With the Owner to Fast-Track Software Projects

We're currently working on a series of internal tools and portal-based applications that will drive our next wave of growth -- and we're looking for someone sharp, tech-savvy, and hands-on to help bring our ideas to life, fast.

What's the Role?

You'll work directly with the business owner in a small two-person team to build and prototype web applications using Replit. These are early-stage, working demos -- not for public release -- but powerful enough for our internal development team to take and run with.

You'll be responsible for:

Translating ideas and feature concepts into interactive, working Replit builds Using pre-trained AI and prompts to help accelerate build time Troubleshooting issues and fixing bugs to ensure working outputs Building database-backed mini tools and workflows Helping turn rough ideas into structured app logic and user flows
This is a hands-on builder role -- perfect for someone who loves taking a blank screen and getting something working fast

What We're Looking For

You'll be someone who:

Has hands-on experience using Replit (or is confident enough to pick it up fast) Ideally has a background in web development, coding, or building applications Has experience with databases, simple back-end logic, and form-based workflows Thrives working on rapid builds and prototypes, not just polished final versions Has strong problem-solving ability and can debug errors without much hand-holding Is comfortable working directly with a founder in a fast-paced, idea-led environment Is based locally and happy working full-time in our Essex office
Bonus points if you've got:

Experience building internal tools, admin portals, dashboards An interest in automation, APIs, or AI-assisted development tools A strong eye for user flow and interface logic (we're not looking for a designer, but structure matters)

Pay: Up to 32,000.00 per year
