Overview


We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team to develop game software for all sectors of the UK gaming market. The ideal candidate will have a passion for software development and a strong understanding of game development. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining software that meet the markets' needs. This role requires a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities



Design, develop, and implement game software using various programming languages and frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, scalable code while adhering to industry best practices. Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.

Skills and Experience



A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not essential if you have relevant experience or projects to showcase. Proficiency in C++. Knowledge of the Linux operating system. Familiarity with version control systems such as BitBucket for collaborative coding efforts. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. Knowledge of UK gaming machines and their regulations an advantage. Knowledge of basic 2D/3D graphics and shaders an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Graduate

Pay: 24,500.00-26,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bridgend, CF31 3RY
