Simcyp is part of Certara, an international company combining sophisticated research and development from a team of dedicated scientists with a cutting-edge software team to produce the leading Modelling and Simulation tools used by Pharma for drug design. The tools allow the creation of virtual people and the subsequent testing of new drugs within this virtual environment. The client base is a mix of major blue-chip pharmaceutical and biotechnology organisations, Regulators, and Academic centres of Excellence. This is an internship role for students still earning their bachelor's/undergraduate degree


Responsibilities:

As a Junior Software Developer, you will gain experience in developing applications for Windows, following company guidelines and implementation documents. Your responsibilities will involve implementing additional features into the Simcyp Simulator as well as other products used both internally and externally.


You will develop in Visual Studio and improve your skills in both C# and C++, including using C# WPF for modern-looking user interfaces using the latest technologies.


Your C++ development will involve the latest C++17 and C++20 features, allowing for cutting-edge high-performance computing.


In addition, your professional skills will be improved by being exposed to team development procedures, following implementation documents, and time management skills to meet deadlines. You will also develop your communication skills by being included in meetings/discussions with the science department, as well as potentially dealing with clients
