We're looking for an
ambitious Junior Sous Chef
to join our kitchen team - someone who's ready to take the next step in their career, support the senior team, and help lead by example.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the smooth running of daily kitchen operations.
Leading sections during busy service and stepping up when senior chefs are off-site.
Helping train and mentor junior team members.
Ensuring consistently high food quality, presentation, and portion control.
Assisting with stock control, prep planning, and kitchen cleanliness.
Championing the use of seasonal, local ingredients in every dish.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a strong Chef de Partie or existing Junior Sous Chef in a fresh food environment.
Confident running service on key sections and stepping up when needed.
Great communication and leadership skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures.
Passion for seasonal cooking and high-quality ingredients.
Eagerness to grow within a supportive team and company.
