Are you passionate about food and ready to take the next step in your culinary career? We're on the lookout for a dedicated and talented Junior Sous Chef to join our growing kitchen team.
About the Role:
As Junior Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes with creativity and consistency. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in a professional kitchen environment, contribute ideas, and develop their leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily food preparation and service
Supervise the kitchen in the absence of the Head/Sous Chef
Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
Help train and guide junior kitchen staff
Contribute to menu development and specials
Monitor stock and assist with ordering and waste reduction
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a professional kitchen (minimum CDP level)
A passion for fresh, quality ingredients and attention to detail
Strong work ethic and team spirit
Good organisational and communication skills
A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain)
