Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As the Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food production and presentation.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and execution of dishes. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in accordance with health regulations. Oversee food production processes to ensure quality and consistency. Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen protocols. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative dishes that enhance our menu offerings. Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and functioning properly.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in supervising and managing a team. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Strong communication skills to facilitate teamwork and collaboration. A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
