Support and assist the Head Chef.
Coordinate line cooking, food preparation and plating.
Maintain operation and health and safety and hygiene standards.
Monitor food stocks and optimise orders to achieve food margins
Be reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
Occasionally step-in and cover more junior roles in the kitchen.
Provide cover when the Head Chef is on holiday.
Understand HACCP and Key Operations in a modern kitchen.
Run a busy and fast paced service.
Place orders when needed.
Be flexible: You may occasionally need to step-in and cover more junior roles in the kitchen or provide cover when the Head Chef is on holiday.
