This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant or Paralegal to take the next step in their career and to step into a Junior Conveyancer position.
You will be joining an established and expanding business. Stephens Wilmot is very much people focused, and is now looking for an individual who is going to help shape the business and who wants to make a difference.
What you'll be doing:
- Using your current knowledge and with additional training and support from our experienced Conveyancing Team, you will manage your own caseload from inception to completion.
-Training and Developing your skills and knowledge in line with business growth
- Keep up to date on conveyancing developments
- Attending upon clients, in person over the telephone and via email, providing support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firms standards for client care
- Organising and managing the preparation of correspondence and documents using the existing case management system
What you'll need:
Essential -
- Must have a minimum of 1 years' experience working within a conveyancing environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A good knowledge of Freehold and Leasehold residential conveyancing transactions including Sales, Purchases, Transfer of Equity, Shared Ownership and re-mortgages.
- IT literate - Word, Excel and relevant case management software
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Personal qualities of enthusiasm, commitment and willingness
Salary is dependent on experience.
