Loane Transport Ltd. is currently seeking a
Junior Transport Planner
to join our team based in on site at our office in Kesh, Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.Key Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and coordinate HGV movements within the UK, ensuring efficient route planning. Monitor deliveries, address potential issues promptly, and ensure optimal utilisation of fleet resources. Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and compliance requirements. Liaise with the operations team to resolve any logistical challenges.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a transport planning role or logistics environment is preferred but not essential. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong IT proficiency, including route planning and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of UK transport regulations and HGV compliance a plus, however training can be offered.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 31,000.00-50,000.00 per year
