Walkers Transport, a leading provider of logistics and palletised freight solutions, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Transport Planner to join our busy operations team in Morley Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for transport and logistics, whether you're a recent graduate or have some experience in the industry. What You'll Be Doing:

Assisting with the daily planning and coordination of fleet operations Communicating with drivers to ensure on-time collections and deliveries Using our transport planning systems to allocate jobs efficiently Monitoring vehicle routes and responding to changes or delays Supporting the senior planning team with admin and data entry tasks

What We're Looking For:

Excellent organisational and communication skills A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn Good IT skills - knowledge of planning or routing software is a bonus Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Experience in a logistics/transport environment is desirable, but not essential
