JOB SUMMARY:

Following our recent move at the start of August 2025 into a brand-new, purpose-built facility and our ongoing expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Junior/Assistant Design Engineer. This role has been created to handle the increased workload as we grow. The successful candidate will join our experienced engineering department, working both collaboratively within a close-knit team and independently. You will be responsible for creating job quotes for our global customer base with a 24-hour turnaround target and assisting our design engineers in their tasks. Full training will be provided to support your development and ensure your success in this role. For the right candidate, there will also be opportunities to progress to a full engineering position as you grow with the company..

JOB DUTIES:

Create job quotes for customers. Organize job sheets efficiently. Occasionally liaise with customers and tooling suppliers. Supply shop floor engineers with necessary information, drawings, and charts to support their tasks and ensure accurate implementation of designs.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

GCSE Level C/4 or above in Maths and English Good knowledge of Excel. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Excellent team player with a proactive attitude.

From 28,000 PA, experience dependent

Experience with CAD software. Knowledge of SolidWorks
