Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior or Trainee CAD Technician to join our team. As a Junior CAD Technician, you will be trained to be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings using various software tools. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and an understanding of engineering principles.

Duties

- Utilise software such as AutoCAD and Revit to produce accurate technical drawings

- Collaborate with design consultants to understand project requirements

- Create 2D and 3D models of structures and components

- Review and modify drawings to ensure adherence to specifications

- Assist in the development of design plans using CAD software

- Maintain drawing databases and ensure version control

Skills

Required Skills:

- Basic experience in CAD software including AutoCAD and Revit. Training is provided.

-Some knowledge of engineering principles and technical drawing standards

- Ability to interpret sketches, schematics, and blueprints

- Attention to detail and accuracy in work

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Familiarity with building design processes
