We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel and Cattery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the skills necessary to provide exceptional service to our clients and their pets. This role involves ensuring the well-being of animals in our care while maintaining a clean and safe environment. The successful candidate will work 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) between 7.30am and 4.30pm. Please be aware this job is in Nafferton so you will have to be able to commute and be ready to start work at 7.30 am.
Duties
Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising
Clean and maintain kennels, ensuring a hygienic environment for all animals
Monitor the health and behaviour of animals, reporting any concerns to managerial staff
Assist with the check-in and check-out process for clients, providing excellent customer service
Skills
Strong animal care skills, with an understanding of animal behaviour and needs
Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and their pets
A compassionate attitude towards animals and a commitment to their welfare
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to 15,862.00 per year
Expected hours: 24 per week
