Candidates must have:
- A diploma in animal management or other relevant qualification (for placements we can accept students who are currently studying an animal related qualification)
- A full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle (please don't apply if you are unable to drive as there is no public transport to our location and further down the line, driving our van will become an essential part of your role)
- A friendly and confident nature. We are a close-knit team and we have strong relationships with all of our customers, so you must be happy to get stuck in!
Other desirable traits include:
- Previous experience working with animals (or in another outdoor setting)
- Canine/feline first-aid qualification (we have an on-site training clinic so we can qualify you here if you aren't up to date)
- Customer service experience.
- Life saving/guarding qualification
As a company, we are continuously striving to grow as a team as well as growing as a business, and with this in mind, we pay a lot of attention to developing the skills of our team. Any long-term career goals you may have in the pet/animal care sector would be something we would love to hear about and support.
If you feel like you meet the above criteria, we would be delighted for you to apply. Please note that due to a high volume of applications, we will be unable to respond to unsuccessful candidates.
